2003-01-08 have you seen bon jovi, the band, lately? i saw them on tv and thought they looked sort of familar. not bon jovi themselves but the way they dressed, their look. and then it struck me: in their late 30's/early 40's, carefully tousled and shaggy haircuts with highlights, designer sunglasses, super tight leather pants with shirts open in the front, and tan and buff bodies from the gym. who else looks like that? aging trophy wives!!! the ones i see when i'm in the gold coast near michigan avenue! i think many middle aged rockstars end up looking just like that. it makes me respect david bowie even more. previous next |
