2002-10-17 Just had my lunch time volunteer reading thing with 2nd grader Dexter (yah that�s his real and cool name), who asked me how a monkey, even if he was curious, could have a bed? I told him I don't know, that's just how life works out sometimes. Anyway, he was cool and didn�t try to escape out the bathroom window like he did with the last volunteer the first time she read with him. This weekend I fly to Korea for a week and then a following week off of extended loafing to recover from the airplane flights, non-stop eating and my mom trying to put her hand down my pants to try to tuck my shirts in to her liking.
