2001-10-11 I can not belive how good the Strokes are. Brilliant. Ok, I mean I bet they are brilliant. I have not heard the album yet but I have read a lot of ecstatic reviews of them and how they are the future of Rock-N-Roll. And look how thin they are! And from NYC! Oh man, they are my favorite band of 2001. They kind of make me think of the Velvet Underground meets Sigue Sigue Sputnik meets the Clash meets that kind of sad feeling you get after Sunday dinner when you realize Monday is going to be arriving and you have that meeting you have to chair but you don't really know what "Value Proposition" means at all and you forgot the conference call password.
