2001-03-14 I heard a story on NPR last night that Paris is cracking down on the ownership of Barbary apes. It's sad, people buy baby apes and then abandon them when the apes are fully grown and hard to handle. I think this is happening here in Chicago. You know who you are! Sure, you taught them somehow to say some simple phrases like, "Hello" and "I am a consultant" and try to pass them off as your boyfriends/brothers/friends, but we know! And the Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society have been notified. previous next |
