2001-04-20 Was at the Borders killing some time last night before seeing Amores Perros and I noticed Murkami's Underground is out. It was on the table with all the other new quality (QB as they are called in the biz. Or is it QP?) paperbacks and without thinking I lightly brushed the cover with my knuckles. Now that I think about it, I might do that with all my books I'm thinking of buying. Anyway, I really liked how the cover of Underground felt. It wasn't glossy or plain, but kinda powdery in a good way. So I started brushing the covers of the other books with the back of my fingers to compare. And then I suddenly realized how crazy it must of looked so I stopped. I guess I'm a book perv? previous next |
