2003-04-01 Pam gave me a bag of magazines and books this weekend. I've been reading a lot of weblogs and online magazines lately but it's just not the same as a print. I forgot about all the weird and fun magazines and zines out there since I don't work at a bookstore anymore. There should be a Quimby's lending library. This is from "Comic Art-A Popular Culture Quarterly" It's kind of academic and it looks like they spent a lot of money printing it. :
And this is from "MATTE" which was a nice mix of comix and articles about art and artists high and low:
And this is the bag I'd carry the magazines in if I happened to be Luku.
